MUSIC ON: ‘You Me Her’ Hit TV Series returns for Season 3 featuring my tracks ‘Switchblade’, ‘Blacked Out’, ‘Anabella’ & ‘Stuck On You’

With the brand new Season 3 of ‘You Me Her‘ hitting screens this month, I’m proud to say my tracks ‘Switchblade‘, ‘Blacked Out‘, ‘Anabella‘ & ‘Stuck On You‘ are featured on the sound track of a number of episodes.

It’s a comedy, drama, romance which revolves around married, vanilla thirty-somethings Jack and Emma Trakarsky, from Portland, Oregon, whose desires to conceive have been hampered by their lack of sex drive.

One day, Jack’s efforts to solve the problem leads both him and Emma to Izzy Silva, a 25-year-old college student and part-time escort. After initially intending to see her as clients, the two jointly start to fall in love with Izzy, who in turn starts to feel the same way. Consequently, they decide to terminate the arrangement and bring Izzy into the marriage as a lover.

This opens up a world of new challenges as they find themselves having to navigate their way through a minefield of prying, nosy neighbours with very narrow social norms and prejudices, whilst at the same time struggling to confront their own feelings and insecurities, and adjust to the unfamiliar dynamic of a polyamorous relationship.

MUSIC ON: My Track ‘Behind The Mask’ Featured On MARCIANO’s ‘Fall Collection’ Advert

Fashion house Marciano have chosen my track ‘Behind The Mask‘ for their advertising campaign showcasing their fall collection.

The track written by Kes Loy, Jessica Greenfield & me, is from the ‘SEXtronica‘ album, and is a sexy electro pop/RnB song about erotic masquerade. Dark verse & epic chorus.

The advert feature Argentinian bombshell Belén Rodríguez and Brazilian heart-throb Bruno Santos and is photographed by acclaimed Italian photographer, Joseph Cardo.
The two stars live the glamorous life from the highest point in the Hollywood Hills.

MUSIC ON: ‘Going for a Song’ Short Animation Featuring My Track ‘Twists and Turns’

I’ve recently been involved with the creation of music (writing, recording, mixing & mastering) for a new short animation helping people understand how copyright works.

The animation, for CopyrightUser.org via AudioNetwork, follows the writing of a song from inception to getting it ‘out’ & heard by the public.

Produced by ‘Worth Knowing Productions Ltd.‘, they took my track ‘Twists and Turns‘ and reverse engineered it – going from humming the tune, to adding lyrics; recording it, to performing it and making it available to buy, download or use.

The original track is here. Written by myself, Barrie Gledden & Key Loy.
Additional vocals & music were added for the animation by Kes Loy & Lucy Kimmings.

MUSIC ON: New ‘Logan’ Film Featuring My Track ‘Blacked Out’

Very pleased to announce that my track ‘Blacked Out‘ is featured in the new Hugh Jackman film ‘LOGAN‘, released 3rd March 2017.

The track is from the ‘Dirt Rock‘ album written by myself, Gavin Conder, Jason Pedder & Dougie Brown.

‘LOGAN‘ is the tenth instalment in the X-Men Series of films, and the third & final ‘Wolverine‘ film…
In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.

Over 400+ Tracks Released on AudioNetwork!

I’m very pleased to announce that my track count has now topped the 400 mark!

I’ve been writing for AudioNetwork since it’s inception in the early 2000s, and along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to work with some of the best people and studios in the business.

Here’s how I got here…
Richard began playing drums and percussion at the age of 11. Having studied percussion at school and playing with various youth orchestras, he became active on the local band scene at the tender age of 13 and soon established a name for himself as a drummer and writer.

On leaving school, Richard toured extensively with major bands such as Whitesnake, Zakk Wylde’s Pride & Glory, Gun and Dogs D’Amour. In 1996 he became a member of the rock band Old Man Stone (Revolver), performing to festival crowds of 20,000 and including sessions for MTV & MTV Europe.

Having always had a keen interest in every aspect of music and its production, Richard completed a degree in Music Technology and then went on to teach Popular Music, Music Technology and Drums at Huddersfield Music College for 9 years alongside touring & recording. Whilst there, Richard taught Justin Hawkins (The Darkness) and engineered recording sessions for Sisters of Mercy, Corinne Bailey Rae and Aswad.

Having let touring take a back seat, Richard focused more on composing and designed & built his own studio. He started writing albums for various production music companies before being welcomed into the nest of Audio Network in 2001.

Richard has composed music for films such as Elle, Kick Ass 2 and The Big Tease plus trailers for Anchorman 2, Tokarev, Carrie, SAL, So Undercover and The Babymakers.

His writing for Audio Network has seen Richard record at Abbey Road Studio 2 with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and his music can be heard on BBC TV & Radio, ITV, Channel 4, Five and Sky and U.S. networks NBC, CBS and Fox, to name but a few.
